Community Care Ambulance provides multi-tiered medical transportation for both emergent and non-emergent needs in Northeastern Ohio along Lake Erie. It operates as the primary 911 provider for the cities of Ashtabula, Middlefield Township and Village, and uses advanced technology to support rapid response. The organization began as a not-for-profit 501(c)(3) entity to serve the transportation needs of the healthcare community, and has grown to be the largest medical transportation organization in Northeast Ohio. Its services include ambulance, wheelchair, and shuttle transportation, and it maintains municipal 911 contracts as well as relationships with freestanding emergency rooms, urgent care centers, and nursing facilities. Based in Northeastern Ohio, the company has expanded its scope and resources over the past decade while pursuing ongoing clinical quality improvements.
