As a community development corporation in Oregon, we serve as a hub or backbone to provide ladders for climbing from poverty into prosperity.

We work together with leaders in Oregon's poorest communities to:

- improve health outcomes
- integrate faith-based and family service programs
- create public-private partnerships
- expand the supply of economical housing 
- encourage and assist in commercial development.

Our flagship work is in the community of Rockwood. The Rockwood that exists today is the result of the gentrification that has taken place over the past 25 years. Rejected by both Portland and Gresham, Rockwood is a community that has never been embraced. Years of neglect and underinvestment have led Rockwood to be Oregon's largest, under-resourced, and challenged community.
