The Community Foundation of Southern Indiana connects people and businesses to their community. Founded in 1991 as the region’s partner, resource and steward in philanthropy, the Foundation is a tax-exempt public charity and a National Standards certified community foundation. The Community Foundation provides the structure that allows its donors and businesses to support their own unique charitable objectives in ways that are easy, flexible and meaningful - managing $102 million in charitable assets and over 220 individual funds. Through the administration of charitable funds and distribution of millions in annual grants and scholarships, the Community Foundation of Southern Indiana provides strategic giving opportunities for its donors, supports the community and addresses Southern Indiana’s most pressing needs.
