Community Grains is a small Oakland-based company in the food and beverage manufacturing sector. It seeks to reshape how wheat is produced and used in California by building a locally rooted network that connects farmers, seed developers, millers, bakers, and cooks, enabling dialogue about the origins and quality of wheat and its products.

Its customers include bakers and other food producers who value traceable, locally sourced grain. In 2017, the company announced a partnership with Rudi's Organic Bakery to launch two new breads, illustrating its focus on supply-chain transparency through collaboration with local grain farmers. The business operates in a market featuring larger manufacturers, but its approach centers on direct relationships and local-scale supply chains.
