Community Homeworks addresses critical repair issues local homeowners face within their built living environments. Critical repair issues often pose serious existing or imminent health or safety risks for current homeowners and their occupants. While other housing organizations work to get people into homes, our programs are designed to help keep low-income families in their homes. Our core programs remain critical home repairs and ongoing free homeowner education to support low-income homeowners, providing agile and targeted solutions to their critical repairs needs; improving their economic security through reduced housing repair and energy costs; ensuring safe, healthy, and sustainable home environments; and through our education program, empowering individuals to maintain and care for their homes to thwart significant and expensive issues down the road.
