Community Infusion Solutions (“CIS”) was formed by founding principle Mitchell Berenson.  While on sabbatical in Togo, West Africa as part of his graduate studies, Mitchell saw local healthcare providers recording information in a book.  It was there that Mitchell realized the power of statistical data and how he could identify trends or even the root cause of illness if given this healthcare information in a more easily usable format.  Upon returning to the United States, he immersed himself in the study of statistics, and his career coincided with the standardization of healthcare data through the implementation of HIPAA laws.  Unlike many of his peers, Mitchell uses the latest technology to sift through mountains of data that are otherwise impenetrable to provide clear and accurate answers rather than acting on hunches and conventional wisdom.

Mitchell’s passion for community service and improved healthcare outcomes led to the development of Community Infusion Solutions to specifically serve small and rural healthcare facilities, and he has surrounded himself with professionals of the highest ethical standards and desire to provide the best service to our clients – because it’s the right thing to do.
