Community Resource Center (CRC) is a Denver-based nonprofit focused on strengthening Colorado's nonprofit sector by building the capacity of nonprofits and community groups. Since its founding in 1981, CRC has supported organizations across rural, suburban, and urban communities to address local issues and expand the scope of nonprofit work in the state. The organization provides training and technical support in areas such as leadership and management, organizational development, strategic planning, board and constituency development, and fundraising. CRC operates statewide and collaborates through programs and partnerships, including initiatives like GrantCorps launched in 2022 to support small, rural, and systemically marginalized communities and organizations led by people of color with grant research, writing, consulting, and training. The organization has earned several awards, including the 1995 Samaritan Institute Award, the 2007 Community Inclusiveness Award, and the 2008 H. Chase Stone Award, recognizing its contributions to ethical practice and community work.
