Founded in 2009, Compass Behavioral Health has quickly grown to serving over 20 communities throughout most of northern Illinois. We specialize in providing behavioral health services in medical settings and other gero-centric communities including primary care, skilled nursing facilities, post-hospitalization rehabilitation centers, and assisted/independent living communities.  Compass Behavioral Health understands the needs of these settings.  Our providers integrate themselves into these settings and develop relationships with various medical providers and staff as if they were working for that community.  It is only through these strong working relationships that we can effectively impact the lives of those who are referred to us for care. 

Our service is unique because we specialize in geropsychology, a specialty within clinical psychology, addressing issues related to older adults.  Such issues may include bereavement, loss of independence, depression, anxiety and health-related issues.
 
We are committed to an excellent standard of care that is achieved by actively involving the patient in the participation of their care by facilitating healthy communication and collaboration with physicians, family, and other vital participants in the individual's life.
 
Compass Behavioral Health bills Medicare and commerical insurances along with secondary or supplemental insurances directly.
