Compassion Planet is a nonprofit in the individual and family services sector, based in Rocklin, California, that serves aged-out foster youth and youth from at-risk backgrounds. It runs a year-long mentoring program that includes more than 1,200 hours of training and work at Deer Creek Farm and the Compassion Thrift Store, guided by an individualized growth plan. A team of social workers, trauma-informed staff, and volunteers support participants in an occupational setting to develop life skills such as finances, health, nutrition, decision-making, and leadership while receiving career development coaching.

After graduation, participants enter the Second Steps program, which provides lifelong services including connections to a community and counseling and mentoring, along with alumni events and internships through Hire Me Next initiative. The organization aims to help graduates plan careers and stay connected to a healthy community. In August 2024, Compassion Planet hosted a Boots & BBQ event at Gold Hill Gardens in Newcastle to engage local supporters.
