Horizontal construction is construction that touches the earth - excavation, utilities, roads, bridges, paving, milling, grading, demolition, snow removal, waste removal, landscaping, site prep, and much more. If dump trucks, heavy equipment or earthen materials are involved, it’s horizontal construction. 

Each project requires the use and coordination of specialized and expensive heavy equipment; daily scheduling of dump trucks to move all types of materials onto, out of and around a job site; and a variety of site services such as road plates, fencing, safety barriers, and signage. While the machinery has advanced, the way businesses connect is outdated and inefficient.  People in this business still rely on phone, fax, paper and word-of-mouth to make connections and management is looking for a better way.
