The Confederation of Danish Employers (DA) is a non-profit federation founded in 1896 that represents Danish employers through member organisations. It is funded by subscriptions from these organisations and operates from its head office in Copenhagen. DA brings together fourteen employers' organisations, linked to more than 24,000 private companies across manufacturing, retail, transport, services and construction, and its activities encompass employment policy, working environment, coordination of collective agreements, labour law, international relations, and related monitoring. The organization conducts monitoring and analysis, producing statistics on wages, absenteeism, conflicts, and other labour-market indicators. Its primary customers are the member organisations and their member companies seeking guidance on policy, working conditions, and bargaining frameworks within Denmark. Based in Copenhagen in the Hovedstaden region, DA operates as a national body within the political organizations sector, representing employer interests and coordinating labor relations.
