ConnectED: The National Center for College and Career is a small organization based in Berkeley, California, operating in education administration programs. It partners with school, district, and community leaders to transform education by implementing college and career pathways that integrate academic study with technical learning. These multiyear pathways are organized around broad industry themes, including biomedical and health sciences; construction and building design; agriculture and renewable resources; and arts, media and entertainment. The aim of this work is to prepare high school students for a range of postsecondary options, such as two- and four-year colleges, apprenticeships, and formal employment training programs. The organization's primary customers are schools, districts, and community leaders seeking to design and implement these pathways to improve student preparation for college, careers, and life. Recent activity shows ongoing district-level collaboration, including a 2025 partnership with Porterville Unified School District to advance pathways.
