The Connecticut Council for Philanthropy is an association of grantmakers committed to promoting and supporting effective philanthropy for the public good. CCP is dedicated to providing its members with the highest quality programs, resources and services, networking opportunities, and insight and news about grantmaking and philanthropy.

CCP membership is open to foundations (private, corporate, community), business and corporate giving programs, federated funds, bank trusts, donor-advised funds and individual philanthropists. Associate & Professional Membership in CCP is open to professionals and organizations serving the philanthropic sector. 

CCP is a leader in enhancing and promoting philanthropy in Connecticut. We serve as an advocate for philanthropy by sharing with elected and appointed officials, the media and the general public the importance and impact of philanthropy on the public good in the state, and engage in public policy work to promote and protect the social purpose sector.
