Conservation Northwest is a regional environmental nonprofit focused on protecting, connecting, and restoring wildlands and wildlife across the Pacific Northwest, from the Washington Coast to the British Columbia Rockies. It pursues landscape-scale conservation by engaging a broad spectrum of stakeholders—including farmers, Indigenous communities, hikers and climbers, hunters and anglers—in collaborative efforts on habitat corridors, wilderness protection, forest restoration, and endangered species recovery. The organization emphasizes a science-based, pragmatic approach and is supported by thousands of members and supporters, with campaigns and partnerships that have protected large tracts of wildlands and aided recovery of species such as wolves and fishers. Founded in Bellingham, Washington in 1989, it is based in Seattle and serves audiences in Washington, British Columbia and beyond. In 2026, Cullen Brady was named Executive Director, with the transition planned for June.
