The Conservative Partnership Institute, based in Washington, District of Columbia, operates within the public policy space as a platform that connects citizen leaders, the conservative movement, Members of Congress, congressional staff, and scholars. It provides these leaders with tools, tactics, resources and strategies to help advance conservative policy solutions. Led by former Congressman and Senator Jim DeMint, the organization relies on a team of Capitol Hill veterans and access to policy research and conservative scholars to support conservatives in Congress. CPI does not take positions on legislation, nor does it engage in lobbying or partisan campaigns; all programs are focused on promoting conservative policies and principles regardless of party affiliation. It emphasizes relationships and procedural expertise aimed at helping conservatives on Capitol Hill restore the founders' principles. In 2019, CPI partnered with the Internet Accountability Project, illustrating its engagement in collaborations with fellow conservative organizations.
