Conserve School is a small educational program in Land o Lakes, Wisconsin, offering a 17-week semester-long experience for high school students with an expressed interest in the natural world and conservation. The curriculum blends college-preparatory academics with courses in environmental history, nature literature, and conservation science, and includes environmental service projects, exploration of conservation careers, leadership and teamwork training, and outdoor engagement. The program is designed primarily for juniors, with flexibility to accommodate advanced sophomores. It aims to deepen students' connection to nature and develop their capacity to act as environmental stewards and to shape their own futures. The program is accredited by the North Central Association Commission on Accreditation and School Improvement (NCA CASI) under AdvancED, and by the American Camp Association. It has earned national and state recognitions, including the 2014 U.S. Department of Education Green Ribbon Schools Award and Green & Healthy Schools Wisconsin 'Sugar Maple' certification.
