The Consortium is an alliance like no other. We sit at America’s epicenter of leadership – from politics and social justice to the arts, business, and science. We bring together this region’s higher education institutions and government entities, businesses and foundations to create new innovations, build a stronger workforce, and strengthen the region’s economy. Our combined efforts offer the potential for unparalleled expansion of access, equity and social mobility.

Our members include the regionally-accredited colleges and universities of the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area, each of which attracts exceptional faculty, staff, and students from across the nation and around the world. A growing list of educational organizations are considered as affiliate members to further expand our reach.

Working together as the Consortium, we foster transformative opportunities for higher education, the region, and the more than 300,000 students enrolled across our institutions.
