Conspirare is a performing arts organization based in Austin, Texas, founded in 1991. It operates a professional chamber choir and a larger symphonic choir, along with an educational program for youth. Led by founder and artistic director Craig Hella Johnson, the organization employs a mix of full-time and part-time staff and is governed by a volunteer board. It presents an annual concert series in Austin, in other parts of Texas, across the United States, and abroad, and it frequently collaborates with other music organizations on large choral and orchestral works. The Conspirare Youth Choirs serve young singers ages 8 to 17 in two ensembles, Kantorei and Allegro. Recent announcements indicate Conspirare will be a headliner at the 2027 ACDA National Conference.
