The Construction & Demolition Recycling Association promotes and defends environmentally sound recycling of more than 500 million tons of recoverable C&D materials generated annually in the United States. Materials include concrete, asphalt, asphalt shingles, gypsum wallboard, wood, and metals. It represents a diverse set of member companies and agencies across C&D recycling disciplines in the United States and beyond. The organization is based in Chicago, Illinois, and operates within the Environmental Services industry as a trade association. Its primary constituency comprises member companies and agencies involved in construction and demolition material recycling, and it addresses industry challenges by providing representation and a forum for collaboration on best practices and policy. In early 2026, the association appointed Neil Mullan as co-chair of its aggregate recycling committee.
