Drainage Water Management is the act of utilizing current drainage practices to build a system which can provide the best possible result throughout many different water events. Drainage systems that have been installed over the course of history were designed to transport water out of a given location constantly or until water levels in the area would not support drainage. Today we design cutting edge systems that are built to maintain optimum water levels within a given location. This allows the system to support drought events as well as high rainfall events. CDS works closely with industry experts to gain expertise in the area of managed water systems. Professional development will be sustained through several annual design schools through ISU, the University of Minnesota, and other accredited institutions. CDS also relies on new partnerships with developing organizations such as the ADMC (Agricultural Drainage Management Coalition) and other established organizations taking advantage of conferences, meetings, and other scheduled events regarding the future of agricultural drainage. Corporate Mission: To provide a valuable service among agricultural leaders; through the continued research and development of Drainage Water Management practices providing our customers with maximized returns and solutions well suited to their individual needs.
