Converge Gallery opened in 2011 and is already receiving recognition in the art world for its ambitious program. While the gallery is based in Williamsport, PA it also mounts exhibitions in New York City and at prestigious international art fairs. Director Casey Gleghorn visits artists’ studios in New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, San Francisco as well as Pennsylvania. The gallery shows the work of emerging and notable mid-career artists.

The gallery features contemporary art in all mediums and genres. The work shown has a progressive spark that is informed by the contemporary international zeitgeist. The work can be further described as having a vitality and presence that transcends styles and schools of art that are often codified in the art world, marketplace and academia.

Converge is trying something a little bit radical by being a contemporary art gallery in Williamsport, PA and in New York City and other cultural capitals simultaneously.
