Cook Polymer Technology (CPT) is the plastic component manufacturing segment of Cook Medical. Formerly known as Sabin Corp, CPT manufactures and supplies Cook Group companies with medical device components and sub-assemblies. 
CPT utilizes the latest manufacturing techniques in the areas of extrusion, injection molding, insert molding and assembly automation. 
CPT has two manufacturing facilities. The facility in Bloomington, IN focuses on traditional thermoplastic related processing. The facility in Canton, IL is a purpose built facility which focuses solely on fluoropolymer processing. The Canton facility is capable of PTFE paste tubing extrusion, thermoplastic fluoropolymer extrusion and various value added processes such as heat shrinkable tubing and product forming.
