Cool Culture is a NYC-based nonprofit that harnesses arts and culture, social justice principles and partnerships with community stakeholders - families, community-based organizations and schools, and cultural institutions - to improve outcomes for economically challenged children and families and to strengthen communities. Cool Culture’s interdisciplinary work is informed by cultural organizing, family engagement and arts education.

Each year, Cool Culture improves outcomes for New York City children by:
•   partnering with 90 premiere museums and cultural institutions
•   working with 400 early childhood programs and public schools
•   connecting over 50,000 historically and economically marginalized families with free, unlimited access to the City's museums

Last year, Cool Culture families made more than 185,000 visits to our 90 cultural partners, including the American Museum of Natural History, The Studio Museum in Harlem, Brooklyn Museum, The Museum of Modern Art and Queens Museum of Art.
