Cool Mom Picks was founded as a grassroots blog by entrepreneurs Kristen Chase and Liz Gumbinner in 2006, and grew to be one of the most influential, trusted, lifestyle platforms for parents looking for a celebration of the diversity of families, and authentic, informed recommendations on gifts, gear, tech, style, books, food, and parenting advice. The site garnered upwards of 1mm monthly vists, and grew their social following to 1 million. 

Liz and Kristen were frequent guests on national morning shows, and expert sources for pubs including the NY Times, LA Times, Washington Post, Martha Stewart Living, and more. 

Since early 2024, the network is under new ownership with a renewed focus on budgeting, money-savings, earning money from home, and online gaming and rewards.
