Copenhagen Malmö Port (CMP) is a major port and terminal operator in the Nordic region and is identified by the EU as one of Europe’s core ports critical for developing new transport corridors. It handles services for about 8,000 ships each year and leverages its Öresund location to serve the Baltic Sea region, its roughly 100 million consumers, and hundreds of thousands of businesses. CMP operates as a full-service port, with activities spanning cruise and ferries, RoRo, container traffic, new cars, rail cargo, logistics, and both liquid and dry bulk. Its operations extend across Copenhagen, Malmö and Visby (the latter for cruise), and the company is pursuing port development projects such as a new container terminal and cruise terminal in Ydre Nordhavn in Copenhagen, the Malmö industrial park, and a Visby cruise terminal opened in 2018.

Its customer base includes shipping operators, cruise lines and freight customers that rely on CMP for integrated port and logistics services across the Baltic region, and the company has received recognition as Best Northern Europe Cruise Port through awards associated with Cruceroadicto 2025. In 2026 CMP formed a partnership with Portchain to improve berth alignment and communication.
