The Copley Society of Art, commonly called Co|So, is a nonprofit arts organization based in Boston, Massachusetts, with roots extending back to 1879 as the oldest such association in the United States. It represents more than 300 living artist members, whose work ranges from students to nationally recognized creators and spans styles from traditional realism to contemporary and abstract across painting, photography, sculpture, and printmaking. The society's gallery program runs roughly 15 to 20 exhibitions per year, including solo shows, thematic group presentations, juried competitions, and fundraising events. Co|So seeks to foster a dynamic, inclusive artistic community by promoting artists from diverse backgrounds and voices, and it pursues this through exhibitions, educational initiatives, and mentorship that support growth and public engagement with art. In 2021, Langham Hotels International Limited partnered with the organization to commission 60 pieces of artwork.
