The Council of Graduate Schools, based in Washington, DC, is a national organization dedicated to advancing master's and doctoral education and research for more than six decades. In 2025, CGS participated in the Strategic Leaders Global Summit in Washington, DC, where leaders from multiple countries released an action agenda to guide transdisciplinary and transnational research.
