Country Hills Eye Center (CHEC) is an ophthalmology practice in Ogden, Utah comprised of five board-certified ophthalmologists, fellowship trained in the subspecialties of oculoplastic surgery, neuro-ophthalmology, glaucoma, and corneal; with one ophthalmologist, also fellowship trained, limiting his practice to diseases and surgery of the retina and vitreous.

Country Hills Eye Center maintains a reputation for quality, caring, accessibility, and surgical conservatism. We have providers on call to allow full-time patient and physician access. Patients with urgent or emergent problems can be seen the same day. Patients who desire a routine complete eye examination can usually be seen within one to two weeks.

Country Hills Eye Center provides state-of-the-art, compassionate, cost-effective patient care in our well-equipped 20,000 square foot clinic. We offer a complete spectrum of eye care, including refractive surgery (PRK and LASIK).  Office surgeries are performed in our two modern operating suites. Intraocular surgeries, including cataracts, and glaucoma are performed at our local hospitals (McKay-Dee Hospital and Ogden Regional Medical Center). Laser surgery for glaucoma, retinal conditions, including diabetic eye disease, and plastic procedures such as Blephroplasties, endoscopic brow lifts, Botox and facial fillers are performed in our eye center.

We are active members of the medical staff and provide quality patient care at both McKay-Dee Hospital and Ogden Regional Medical Center. We are committed to working with local hospitals and other health care providers and payers to improve the quality and cost-efficiency of patient care in our community
