Founder and CEO, Steven Weitzman, has worked in the transportation design and public art industries since 1971, creating CDR in 1998 to focus solely on Aesthetic Master Planning for America's infrastructure. CDR works collaboratively with DOT's, engineers, architects, and developers to create dynamic highway infrastructure that finds its inspiration in the rich history and traditions of a particular community.  We are very successful at mediating stalled talks and negotiations between communities, contractors and other entities and constituents involved in the process for deciding on the appropriate aesthetic imagery of a project.

CDR also offers aesthetic design services for shovel-ready highway and bridge projects, even when the shovel is already in the ground. Together with its sister company Creative Form Liners, Inc., CDR can aid Departments of Transportation in integrating unique designs into a project's existing specifications, using custom, standard or specialty form liners or color treatments.
