Creative Power Systems, Inc.(CPS) is a Michigan, USA Corporation devoted to the research, product development, design, manufacture, test, and sale of distributed generation products, energy storage, distribution automation, smart grid monitoring devices, and software for the real time monitoring, analysis, and control of both transmission and distribution electric power systems. CPS holds 15 USA and foreign patents with 15 patents pending, and has done considerable work developing interconnection standards for distributed generation throughout the world. In addition, CPS has performed engineering consulting work throughout the USA and rest of world, and has sales representatives covering all the regions of the USA and 12 foreign countries. Creative Power Systems manufacturing is performed at its own facilities in Detroit, Michigan, and Prague, Czech Republic. The facilities in Detroit include indoor high voltage line test span, high current line test span and three phase line test span capabilities. CPS has developed 19 new products over the last few years, and has performed: research, product development, manufacturing and testing without any federal, state, or local funding grants- all funding has been solely contributed by CPS.
