Creative York is a community arts organization based in York, Pennsylvania, founded in 1990 as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit. It operates a gallery and art space, The Kerlin Gallery and The Art Lab, along with a ceramics studio and a variety of art classes and outreach programs that engage people from ages 3 to 103. The organization serves local students, families, schools, and broader community members, providing opportunities for creative learning, exhibition access, and participation in arts-based activities that aim to build confidence, imagination, and collaboration. Each year it hosts dozens of exhibits and programs, including a long-running outreach initiative that supports social skills and teamwork through art, and it serves more than 10,000 participants annually across classes, camps, and events. In addition to its downtown facilities, Creative York partners with schools and other organizations to supplement arts education with visual and literary arts experiences for diverse audiences.
