Founded in 1923 under the previous name Richmond Postal Credit Union, Credit Union of Richmond is Virginia's oldest continuously running Credit Union. As a result of our well-managed growth and strong financial position over the years, this member-owned financial cooperative has continued to grow and now our membership extends to everyone who lives, works, worships, volunteers, or attends school in the City of Richmond, Virginia. 

Our assets are federally insured by the National Credit Union Administration (NCUA), the strongest federal insurance agency in the country.
