Cristo Rey New York High School is a co-educational, college-preparatory school in New York City within the national Cristo Rey Network. It serves students of all faiths who demonstrate potential and motivation but lack the educational background or financial resources to attend other private college-prep schools. Guided by cura personalis, the school blends a rigorous academic program with a demanding work-internship component to prepare students for college and professional careers. Founded in 2004, CRNYHS opened with 99 freshmen and earned accreditation from the New York State Association of Independent Schools in 2010. By 2022, the school celebrated its 15th graduating class with 96 seniors, and typically 98-100% of graduates enroll in college at a broad range of institutions. In 2021, the Board of Trustees appointed Bill Cody as Board Chair, succeeding Kyle L. Miller.
