Criterion Games is an award-winning studio that is part of Electronic Arts. Our story began back in the mid-1990s as a small studio of talented people who craft games with joy, passion, and commitment to great quality.

Growing over the years, we’ve nurtured our values in creative collaboration, diversity, honesty and unique perspectives in a studio that is a healthy mix of industry veterans and newcomers working together to inspire, support, and educate one another. Players know us from racing games across the Burnout and Need for Speed series, and in recent years we’ve worked with our colleagues at DICE on Star Wars Battlefront - Rogue One: X-Wing: VR Mission, Star Wars Battlefront II, bring Firestorm to Battlefield V and on the next Battlefield. Our future sees us fully-focused on the next generation of Need for Speed.
