In 1978, a group of United Methodist Churches in Palm Beach County joined forces to create Christians Reaching Out to Society, Inc. or as we are known today, CROS Ministries. They realized that together they could make a bigger difference assisting the community’s unmet needs. Overtime, we became interfaith, creating partnerships with all denominations, faiths, community groups, and local nonprofit agencies to address hunger issues and create solutions to meet those needs. Today, we stand as a beacon of hope, tirelessly working on the front lines to directly serve families and individuals facing hunger and food insecurity. Services include distributing food at seven food pantries in 10 different locations, recovering fresh produce at local farms through our Gleaning program, and serving and delivering hot meals through our Caring Kitchen program. All services are provided without regard to race, religion, color, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, age, national origin, ancestry, citizenship, veteran, or disability status.
