At Cross Point, we aren’t interested in being a one-stop shop- providing a variety of ministries, with none of them done well. We are called to narrow our focus to what we can do, and do them quite well with the gifted people that God has called to our church . Too many churches spread themselves so far out, and begin to lose sight of what God called the church to do. That’s why we have only 5 areas of ministry: Gatherings (Music & Teaching) Children’s Ministry (Nursery, K-4, 5&6 Grades) Youth Ministry (Stoked Youth Gathering) Small Groups (Home groups, Study groups, Community gatherings) Missions (driving local outreach and ministries that develop our region) In the Quadcities area, there are many ministries that reach outside of our scope. We do not try to replace those ministries with inadequate efforts of our own resources, but instead reach out to help build up those ministries and work together to touch our community. If you ask us to provide a service that doesn’t fit into these 5 areas- we’ll happily help you find the ministry you are looking to find.
