Croton Energy Group (CEG) is an energy management services firm located in Croton-on-Hudson, New York in the lower Hudson Valley. CEG offers two kinds of services: turn key energy improvements and procedural or communication improvements. We design and install energy improvements–such as solar systems, demand management/resilience systems, or lighting upgrades. We also consult on sustainability initiatives for intergovernmental organizations—such as explaining state programs to local municipal leaders and community groups. Some recent CEG projects include: -Design and install a turnkey commercial lighting upgrade that earned the client a $75,000 incentive rebate with 2.7 year payback (NYSERDA EFP 2013) -Design and install residential solar PV installations that offset up to 90% of clients’ electric usage (2014-2015, NY-SUN PON2112). -Work as Technical Adviser to the 230 member Energy Working Group of the Mid-Hudson Regional Sustainability Plan (2012-2013, NYSERDA PON2228). -Develop and deliver outreach services for EnergizeNY to 184 local government (2012-2013, PON2319) -Assist a non-profit artists residency center convert a 100 year old retreat facility in Adirondacks from oil to 100% non-fossil fuel for heating and hot water (2014). -Advise a non-profit environmental education center on optimizing its renewable energy and energy storage system. -Work as Technical Adviser to Solarize Westchester Program to help cities, towns and villages streamline solar permitting and zoning barriers (2014-2016 NYSERDA PON2672).
