Cruise Carts operates in Charlotte, North Carolina, as an advertiser-supported shuttle service that provides free transportation. The fleet consists of street-legal, four-passenger electric golf carts that traverse Uptown's entertainment and historic districts as well as nearby neighborhoods. Rides are funded by local and national sponsors, with drivers compensated by tips rather than a standard fare, and safety considerations guiding late-night operations. Positioned within the Advertising Services industry, the company blends sponsorships with mobility to remove cost barriers for riders while aiming to reduce the city’s eco-footprint compared with traditional taxis. Its target market includes residents and visitors seeking convenient, sustainable travel options in Charlotte, delivered by a small team based in the region.
