CT Wilson Construction is a third-generation, family-owned commercial general contractor proudly based in Durham, North Carolina. Founded in 1952 by Charles T. Wilson, Sr., the company began with a mission to deliver high-quality preconstruction and construction management services to Durham and its surrounding communities.

The Wilson legacy continued when Charles “Chuck” T. Wilson, Jr., joined the company in 1969, bringing experience from his service in the U.S. Navy and a Civil Engineering degree from NC State University. The tradition was carried forward with Charles “Charlie” T. Wilson, III, who gained industry experience in Arlington, Texas, before returning home in 1997. Armed with a master’s degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin, Charlie became the company’s majority owner and President in 2016.

In 2017, CT Wilson expanded its reach by opening a satellite office in Greensboro, NC. Today, the company employs over 70 professionals—from project managers to highly skilled on-site laborers—enabling it to handle a wide variety of construction challenges with flexibility and precision.

CT Wilson specializes in both new construction and complex renovations, particularly in active, occupied spaces. Our portfolio includes projects in education, healthcare, recreation, religious institutions, community housing, and adaptive reuse, all approached with a commitment to quality, collaboration, and client satisfaction.
