CTI has been designing and manufacturing rugged NEMA 4 (IP 66) sealing Human Machine Interface (HMI) and Motion Control devices for over 25 years. These watertight HMI devices include Keyboards, Trackballs, Joysticks, and Intelligent Switches in offerings for Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs), Systems Integrators, and Commercial End Users. Custom product offerings are available in different stages of manufacture such as OEM, Panel Mount, or Plug-n-Play. CTI follows Medical, Military, and Commercial (ISO-9000) Quality standards and is certified under MIL-I-45208 standard. CTI's Commercial and Government Entity "CAGE" Code is 0K9x9. For the European Economic Community, CTI does have CE certification and is compliant with the RoHS and REACH directives.

CTI's devices are well suited for areas subjected to dirt, grease, harsh oils, hazardous materials, or other types of debris, or environments with extreme temperatures ranges (-40C to +85C), or very high humidity (100% non-condensing), or outside weather conditions including heavy rain and exposure to the elements.
