Cultured Love is a company with a passion for food and nutrition, natural health and well-being, and shares that passion through the preparation of great-tasting foods and providing insightful education. We endeavors to make good food good, producing probiotic-laden, nutritious foods that are not only beneficial for you, but also add amazing flavor, texture, and beauty to any meal. Our current lineup of specialty kraut products — traditional sauerkraut with caraway, dill kraut, and spicy kraut -- are naturally fermented and nutritious, hand-crafted in Grand Rapids. The mission of Cultured Love is driven by a desire to spread the idea that “food is medicine”, that what we eat has a significant impact on our overall well-being, our psychology, our digestion, our ability to fight disease. This mission has grown out of years of experience dealing with chronic disease in our family, seeking alternatives both to standard American diets that are increasingly devoid of nutrition, and to standard western healthcare which often provides medical responses to health and disease that sometimes don’t seem to improve the problems we face. What we are discovering is a whole new world that focuses on nutrition – through diet, food selection and food preparation – as a means to promote health through prevention and treatment of illness, restoring our bodies to peaceful alignment and wholeness, back to the ancient idea of shalom, the way things were intended to be. Along the way, we have found that food that is good for you can also be really tasty and fun to eat. These specialty krauts are our first products to fit that profile, with great taste, brilliant color and fresh texture, loaded with natural probiotics from the fermentation process.
