The Cupertino Library Foundation is a nonprofit organization aligned with the local library system in Cupertino, California. Its aim is to promote life-long learning and self-improvement through the Cupertino Library so that library users of all ages become more knowledgeable, better informed, and more engaged members of the community. The foundation functions as a catalyst for new library projects and as a conduit for dialogue between the community and the library, evaluating opportunities by reach, depth, and impact. Notable initiatives include a middle school science-oriented program called S3 - Super Science Searches and the Tech Toolbar installed in the Cupertino Library. Based in Cupertino, California, the foundation is a small to mid-sized nonprofit with 501(c)(3) status. In March 2016, it partnered with the Asian American Parent Association to present a panel discussion featuring former Cupertino mayors, illustrating its role in coordinating community-facing programs.
