CybAero develops and manufactures high-quality, effective systems that enable clients to operate from the air without putting people and property at risk. The systems, Remotely Piloted Aircraft Systems (RPAS), consist of remotely piloted helicopters, ground stations, sensors and data links. The systems can be adapted to the specific needs of each client and can be used for civilian applications, such as coastal and border surveillance and search and rescue missions, as well as for defense applications such as mapping. The company was founded in 2003, although its foundations were laid as early as 1992 through research collaboration between Linköping University and the Swedish Defense Research Agency (FOI). CybAero’s core business consists of proprietary systems based on a high level of expertise. CybAero delivers its systems directly to end users or to strategic partners. CybAero’s head office is in the Mjärdevi Science Park in Linköping, Sweden. In addition to CybAero, an aviation cluster is situated here with over 60 high-tech companies and advanced research at Linköping University. This gives CybAero access to highly educated employees with the right expertise and experience. The company has more than 50 employees and has been listed on the NASDAQ OMX First North since 2007.
