The CycleTrader.com Rock River Yamaha team is a motocross and supercross racing program linked to Rock River Powersports, created to help amateur riders transition to professional competition. The initiative began in 2009, and in 2010 expanded its arrangement with Yamaha Factory Racing to provide trackside support and genuine Yamaha parts at major events across both the Monster Energy Supercross and Lucas Oil AMA Motocross championships. The team operates with a volunteer-based, non-salaried model, and riders cover their own transportation and travel costs.

Based in Johnson Creek, Wisconsin, the organization combines dealership and racing operations to develop riders nationwide. In November 2013, CycleTrader.com joined as the title sponsor of the Yamaha racing team, strengthening its presence in the sport while supporting the team's mission to provide opportunities for riders to advance. The team competes across national circuits and provides riders with professional race-day exposure and promotional opportunities.
