The Danforth Art Museum and School invite you to see, learn, create, and be inspired by art. The Danforth Art Museum educates the public through its Permanent Collection of American art from the 19th century to the present day and changing exhibitions of contemporary artists. The Danforth Art School offers studio art classes and workshops. The museum and school collaborate on artist talks and workshops as well as guided tours that include art projects. On May 13, 2016, Danforth Art received notice that it must vacate the municipal-owned Danforth Building. The Danforth Art Museum and School are now part of Framingham State University and have their home in the Jonathan Maynard Building on Framingham Centre Common in Framingham, Massachusetts.
