Darul Arqam North is a full-time Pre-K through 12 school based in Houston, Texas. It operates under the Islamic Educational Institute of Texas, a subsidiary of the Islamic Society of Greater Houston. Founded in 1992, the school began in two mobile homes and a small house with eight faculty teaching 33 students from Pre-K to 3rd grade. It has since grown to a brick-and-mortar campus offering a Pre-K to 12 program, with a faculty and staff of more than forty and a student body of over 350. Its core objective is to deliver quality education that excels academically while cultivating morally responsible citizens. As part of IEIT and ISGH, the school is positioned within a faith-based educational framework in the Houston area.
