The David Brower Center provides a home for the environmental movement by advocating for the beauty, diversity, and ecological integrity of Earth. 

Through permanent infrastructure and ongoing programs we:
· inform the public about environmental challenges we all face and bold actions we must take to save people and planet
· inspire people to own their power and responsibility to hold larger industries and systems accountable, including individual daily choices
· connect people and organizations dedicated to social equity and ecological sustainability.

We are named in honor of David Brower, a Berkeley native many consider the father of the modern environmental movement.
