David Ellis Events is a full-service experiential event production and catering company serving private, corporate, and nonprofit clients throughout the New York Metro Area.
Founded by Chad Ellis Peters and Jonathan David Peters, the company was built to deliver highly produced, design-forward events backed by operational precision and exceptional hospitality. With over 30 years of combined experience in private dining, catering, and large-scale event production, they have produced thousands of events ranging from intimate gatherings to large-scale galas.
David Ellis Events offers comprehensive services including staffing, event design, specialty lighting, entertainment, rentals, floral design, and culinary production — managing every detail from concept through execution.
As the company grew, so did its vision. To expand their culinary operations, the team launched Addison Taylor Catering, originally created to service corporate dining programs and craft services. The brand has since evolved to offer private clients a more streamlined catering option — delivering the same quality and execution with a more accessible structure. While David Ellis focuses on immersive, experiential events, Addison Taylor operates as a dedicated catering company. In 2018, the founders formalized their in-house floral division into Bloome & Thorne Floral, allowing clients access to fully customized floral design tailored to each event’s aesthetic and scale. Together, the brands operate as an integrated hospitality group — offering clients event production, catering, and floral design under one leadership vision. David Ellis Events has been recognized by New Jersey Life as one of the “A-Listers: Spas, Boutiques, Escapes and Food of New Jersey.”
