David Scott Interiors is a New York City-based practice in the architecture and planning field that concentrates on creating interiors. The firm designs spaces by integrating practical architectural considerations with distinctive design, preserving a clear link to the client throughout each project. With homeowners as the central clients, the process begins with a comprehensive consultation to translate personal lifestyle into a unique environment. Its work emphasizes the scale and form of spaces and seeks to bridge past and present by pairing fine art and antiques with contemporary pieces. This client-centered, integrative approach is evident across residential interiors in its practice. The founder, David Scott, has published a book titled Outside the Box that offers a behind-the-scenes look at several projects and his design approach.
