The Co-op is a cooperative business, owned by about 10,000 local households. We are a full-service grocery store in Downtown Davis, specializing in natural, organic and locally produced foods. We exist to serve our Owners and the surrounding community, not some far-off corporation. Our store is open to the public 7 days a week, from 7am to 10pm. Joining is easy, financially savvy (Member-Only deals, Patronage Refund, and our special 30-day no receipt required return policy are just a few perks), and a great way to invest in your local economy. We accept WIC and EBT. We've got a full-service deli with custom sandwiches, prepared salads, a hot foods and salad bar. Our in-house bakery bakes daily. Our produce department offers the local and organic produce, seeds and plant starts, and an olive & antipasto bar. In our meat department, real butchers prepare fresh cuts from the whole animal, and make homemade sausages. We feature an expansive bulk department with everything you need to stock your pantry, plus several aisles of packaged dry goods and frozen foods, as well as a wide assortment of dairy products and specialty cheeses. Vitamins and supplements, health and beauty care products, homeopathic remedies, essential oils, and general merchandise-- we've got that, too! PLUS we offer Davis' best selection of craft beers and microbrews and wines, including local and imports, organics, and value-priced wines. You can even buy wine-by-the glass, draft beer, and draft kombucha in our deli to enjoy on our delightful garden patio.
